Short times and low-cost tooling

APPLICATIONS
Technology suitable to produce pre-series of polyurethane resins (simil-plastic). The technology of silicone moulds allows to reproduce a prototype in stereolithography up to 20 pieces by only one mould(*) within 5 working days. We can realize polyurethane resin products, with mechanical characteristics similar to the definitive products by the wide range of the resins we have at our disposal.(we have in-home). Items with undercut and co-moulded products with metal inserts or made up of different types of resins can be realized.[(*) average duration of a silicone mould].

AVERAGE DELIVERY TIMES
5 working days (average times considered starting from the stereolithography. Time to be verified during the order step).

MAXIMUM DIMENSIONS OF THE PRODUCT
We have in-home machines which allow to produce monobloc object up to L 1300 x H700mm xW 600mm

AVERAGE DURATION OF A SILICONE MOULD
Average life of a mould: 20-25 pieces. The life of a silicone mould (quantity), is expressed in terms of items produced by the mould.

 DIMENSIONAL TOLERANCES OF THE PRODUCT

Some tenths of millimetre. Anyway tolerances are changeable according to some
INDICATORS/PARAMETERS of process and product: dimensions of the item, material, type of silicone, number of items to be produced… Stricter tolerances can be reached by working DI RIPRESA on CNC working machines.

POLYURETHANE MATERIALS
Polyurethane resins BI-COMPONENTS. Over 100 types of polyurethane resins are available. Variability of material hardness in a range 20-95 shore A, that is from very soft RUBBERS/GUMS(resine) to ABS-like. Fire-proof and self-extinguishable certified materials and materials resistant to 160°C are also available. We also have food resins. A technical card can be provided for each resin(on request).
 
FINISH AND SUPERFICIAL TREATMENTS
Items obtained by casting into silicone mould can be afterwards subjected to varnishing, metallization, nickel-plating, embossing-like. The casting process(PROCESSO DI COLATA) takes places in under vacuum CHAMBER(mecc.)machines and RINVENIMENTO in controlled-temperature ovens. The vacuum allows to remove air bubbles in the manufactures.

MOULDS
The mould is made of silicone. Different types of silicone allow to use the most suitable one according to production parameters/LEVELS such as: features of the polyurethane chosen for the product, numbers of items to be produced, tolerances to be realized on the product, morphology of the product.
